The bichon frisé is a superb all-around pet that is both lively and sensitive. Bichons get along nicely with other dogs and cats. They are often seen to be excellent with children. They rated high on snapping at youngsters in one poll, but exercise care if dogs and small children are around. They were deemed to be simple to housebreak and train in the same poll, however some owners disagree with the designation. Bichons are energetic dogs, but because they are little, they don't require a lot of space to play and are ideal for apartment life. Bichons aren't renowned for barking, which is great for city people, but don't expect them to protect your house.
